According to a few sources in Universum Box-Promotion, highly-regarded but unlucky Russian heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov (28-0, 23 KOs) will finally be back n the ring on September 24 against American journeyman Matthew “Gator” Greer (14-6, 13 KOs). The contest will be held in Hamburg, Germany.

WBA/WBC #6 and IBF/WBO #7 ranked Boytsov, 25, was last seen in the ring in November on 2010 against Mike Sheppard. He fought just once in 21 months and was sidelined for a long time due to severe hand injuries. Greer is best known as a knockout victim to Kevin Johnson and James Toney.
