Oscar De La Hoya plans to go back to his roots in preparation for an anticipated rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 20. De La Hoya plans to move his training camp to Big Bear, California. For his last two fights, with Ricardo Mayorga and Mayweather, he used the Wilfredo Gomez boxing gym in Puerto Rico.

"I want to return to my roots and feel the same as when I trained for my past world title fights," De La Hoya said. "My trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. understands that Big Bear has the adequate conditions for the fight against his son, therefore, we will establish our camp there."

De La Hoya plans to fight Mayweather near the welterweight limit, somewhere between 147 and 150-pounds.
