The much-anticipated new pricing structure of DAZN has been announced today.

The self-styled Home of Boxing has launched a new tier called DAZN Ultimate, described as “a comprehensive boxing subscription” that is scheduled to include “a minimum of 12 pay-per-view fights per year.”

The first three such pay-per-view events will be the November 15 London rematch between Chris Eubank Jnr and Conor Benn, the following week’s Saudi Arabia card featuring David Benavidez-Anthony Yarde, Jesse Rodriguez-Fernando Martinez, Abdullah Mason-Sam Noakes and Brian Norman-Devin Haney and the December 27 card topped by Naoya Inoue-David Picasso, with Junto Nakatani on the same card.

The plan promises to deliver 185-plus fight nights with a minimum of 12 pay-per-views each year with the option to pay monthly and up-front annual subscriptions.Pay-per-view events will continue to be available for purchase by DAZN subscribers on a standalone basis. The press released containing the announcement added: “DAZN Ultimate subscribers in the UK and US will benefit from the ultimate viewing experience with HDR and Dolby 5.1 surround sound available for select events.”

Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, said: “When DAZN entered boxing, we immediately challenged the status quo by bringing some of the biggest fights in the sport exclusively to streaming. We are shaking things up once again with DAZN Ultimate, launching an evolution of pay-per-view that will make boxing more accessible to fans. DAZN Ultimate reflects our long-term vision: to build a sustainable, fan-centric ecosystem for boxing that rewards loyalty and delivers unforgettable experiences.”

DAZN has deals in place with Matchroom Boxing, Queensberry Promotions, Golden Boy Promotions and The Ring/Riyadh Season and the Ultimate Plan is being rolled out in more than 170 countries, including the US and the UK, with a pledge to save fans $320 (approx. $416 per year) for those  who subscribe and would purchase each pay-per-view.

The Ultimate package will cost £22.99 per month in the UK or £19.99 in the US, introductory offers that are set to increase from December to £24.99 per month in the UK.
