Boxxer can now boast DAZN among their broadcast partners after streaming service acquired global rights for this weekend’s WBC bantamweight eliminator between Francesca Hennessy and Ellie Boutell.
The event, which was to be headlined by Adam Azim-Gustavo Lemos until both suffered injuries, takes place at London, England’s Copper Box Arena.
The show, which features Gradus Kraus looking to further his education against Boris Crighton, will also be shown in the UK and Ireland on free-to-air BBC Two and BBCiPlayer.
Boxxer's Ben Shalom said: "We are delighted to be partnering with DAZN alongside our free-to-air partnership with the BBC. I believe that the BBC together with the global home of boxing DAZN can be a powerful combination in the sport for developing household names and creating a clear pathway for fighters in British boxing.’’
