Denmark’s Jacob Bank and his promoter, Primetime Promotions, have signed a co-promotional deal with Goldstar Management. Their plan is to market Bank, 24, beyond Denmark.
No details have been revealed yet, even though Goldstar has described it on social media as a “groundbreaking multi-year co-promotion deal”.
According to knock-out.dk, Bank, 16-0 (8 KOS), will next fight on September 13 in his hometown of Kolding.
Primetime and Bank recently hired Joey Gamache as his coach, and he was on hand for Jacob’s past fight, a 10-round points win over Spain’s Damian Biacho, 17-1 (4 KOs). That fight underlined that Bank has lots of talent, but also showed that there is a lot of room for improvement. He is ranked seventh by the WBO and 18th by the EBU.
Kasper Holgersen, the head of Primetime, wrote on social media: “The negotiations have been a learning process and we are convinced this is the right step to take.”
Goldstar posted: “His dynamic style, knockout power, and relentless determination have positioned him as the future of Danish boxing.”
