Cuban trainer Pedro Luis Diaz was not impressed or intimidated by the recent sparring video which showed Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) putting in a few rounds of work with Omar Henry. Diaz is training WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto for a fight with Mayweather on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather showcased a live stream of his sparring session, which took place at the boxer's gym in Las Vegas. Diaz watched a video of the sparring session but wasn't worried with anything that he saw.

"All of my efforts are to prepare Miguel for a big victory. That is my priority. People do not realize that Cotto is a boxer who has speed, strength and, above all, a huge heart in the chest that will lead him to a great victory for Puerto Rico. We're not doing too much talking, we'll [just see] when Miguel and Floyd are in the ring. Miguel's hands will do the talking," Diaz told Carlos Gonzalez.

"We saw a montage [of the sparring vide]. Mayweather is a fighter just like anyone else. He has two arms, two legs and talks a lot. I do not lose any sleep over anything Mayweather does or says. On May 5, we'll get the victory, that I can guarantee. Miguel is a warrior, a winner and we will apply everything that we've been working on to defeat Mayweather."
