Undefeated heavyweight prospect Chris Arreola (22-0, 20KOs) continued his winning ways by stopping Thomas Hayes (26-2, 18KOs) in the third round of their main event at the Doubletree Hotel in California.

Arreola was in charge from the first bell and close the show with a well placed uppercut in the third. By this point in his career, Arreola must be starving for an opponent that can actually fight back. He needs some kind of a test, like a Jameel McCline, Andew Golota or a Hasim Rahman.

In the co-feature, Ricardo Cortes (21-1-1, 14KOs) scored a third-round disqualification win over Fernando Zuniga (26-9, 20KOs) in middleweight contest.

Zuniga caught a case of Golota-fever by landing a variety of low blows in the bout. He was penalized a point in the first round and two more points in the second. After landing another low blow in the third, referee Lou Moret stopped the fight and awarded the bout to Cortes.
