CHAVEZ - SITZES NABF TITLE FIGHT ADDED TO “A RING OF THEIR OWN” HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM CARD!
Rock & Sock Productions announced today that the NABF featherweight title fight between Jackie Chavez (9-1) and Jeri Sitzes (8-6-1) has been added to the January 27 “A Ring of Their Own” card at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California. This fight was originally scheduled for the January 28 in Palm Springs. “Having this third championship fight on our card gives us the chance to bring even more boxing excitement to the fans,” stated “AROTO” matchmaker Wanda Bruce. “Jackie and Jeri are two of the most exciting women fighters out there today.”
The Hollywood Palladium card is the first event in 2006 for “AROTO.” The scheduled lineup also includes Yvonne Reis and Angelica Martinez fighting for the WIBA Intercontinental light middleweight title; Suswella Roberts and Daria Hill vying for the WIBA Intercontinental welterweight title; Erin Toughill and Laura Ramsey in a super middleweight clash, and Crystal Morales and Sosadea Razo in a four-round rematch.
“A Ring of Their Own” is the only all women’s boxing series. It is broadcast on a delayed basis by satellite and cable networks, and reaches over 40 million viewers in the U.S. and Canada on a weekly basis.
