On April 20th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, WBC 154-pound champion Saúl "Canelo" Alvarez has promised to avenge his family honor by taking the WBA title from Auston Trout (26-0, 14KOs), who beat Canelo's older brother Rigoberto Alvarez in Guadalajara in 2011. Canelo has even promised to return to Mexico with the WBA championship, and present it as a gift to Rigoberto. Almost 40,000 fans are expected for this Showtime televised event.

"I want to avenge my brother's loss and bring this victory back to Mexico. This is personal for me. As I've said, I will take Trout's belt and hand it over to my brother. My brother told me that Trout is difficult fighter and fast, but I am prepared. To fight a left hander, you have to hit him with both hands and you have to know how to connect with your punches. I make myself comfortable with left handers. Trout has a tough southpaw style and that's why it is necessary to be prepared at all times in the fight," Canelos said.
