WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (40-0-1, 29KOs) is not bothered by the critics who are making negative comments about his upcoming defense against WBC silver welterweight champ Josesito Lopez (30-4, 18KOs). The fight is going to take place on September 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

In the month of June, Lopez moved up to the welterweight division and broke the jaw of Victor Ortiz before stopping him in nine rounds. Now Lopez is moving up once again and faces an even bigger man.

"I'm always prepared to fight anyone that is put in front of me, and if they put the devil in front of me tomorrow - I'll fight with him. I'm ready to fight anyone. There is no such thing as a small opponent. I know the quality of Lopez and I will prepare myself at 100% to face him," said Canelo.
