WBC/WBA junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs) is not worried about the catch-weight of 152-pounds for his upcoming defense against undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs), which takes place on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Canelo came in at 166.8-pounds for his 30-day weight check. It caused some concern among the fans. The Mexican star says there is no reason to worry about his ability to make the catch-weight limit.

"I'm not worried about the weight at all. Every thing is fine. The weight is fine. Everything is on schedule. Training camp has been great. We are ready for Mayweather's style. We've had great sparring partners who are [sparring in a manner] similar to Mayweather, who like to throw one or two punches and then he moves. We are prepared for that. I'm very focused on achieving a great victory for everyone in Mexico," Canelo said.
