With respect to fighting at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico, nobody has made a formal offer to Canelo Alvarez and his team, and although the Mexican superstar is willing to do t hat, he has also raised his hand to make fights in other countries like the UK.

Canelo has not fought in Mexico since November 2011, when he knocked out former champion Kermit Cintron in the Monumental Plaza of Bulls Mexico.

"Nothing is complicated and even less so in my country. To come to my country is always an honor. Simply, we just need to agree on many things, there are many television interests, a lot of things, but for me it is always an honor to fight [in Mexico], and yes there is a possibility," said Canelo.

"I really have not had a deep conversation on this topic. And being honest, I have not had a talk on this subject at all, I have not had any proposal, much less talked about this topic with anyone. But for me at this moment I can to say that fighting in Mexico is a possibility and it would fill me with pride."

In addition, he expressed his taste for fighting outside of the United States.

"Look, I've always loved the possibility of being able to go to England or Tokyo, Japan. I really like the idea of ??going to some of those locations or to any other part of the world where people follow me. Where there are people who like boxing, I would like to performer there and I have always had the mentality to go to those places," Canelo confessed.

Canelo has fought and beaten four UK fighters in his career, including a December knockout of Rocky Fielding.

In going to the UK, he would have numerous fight options like Billy Joe Saunders, Kell Brook, James DeGale, Chris Eubank Jr., Callum Smith, and others.

"In England there are many very good fighters, they make good fights and I would love it," Canelo reiterated.
