Next Saturday's rematch between WBO light flyweight champion Ivan Calderon (31-0, 6KOs) and Hugo Cazares (26-4, 19KOs), at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico - is going to have a very wild atmosphere. Calderon vs. Cazares will become the next chapter in the rivalry between Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Some experts are picking the stronger Cazares to overpower Calderon and win their rematch. Calderon says the experts are being blinded by Antonio Margarito's recent knockout of his Puerto Rico countryman, Miguel Cotto.

"Many of the people who don't hold me as the favorite for this fight is because Miguel Cotto just lost to a Mexican and Cazares is a Mexican, and that is going to give him a lot of motivation, but I am going to have more motivation since we now only have three world champions and I have to keep my crown," Calderon told El Nuevo Dia.

Margarito is going to fly to Puerto Rico to sit ringside in support of his close friend Cazares. Calderon says that Cazares can have Margarito because thousands of Puerto Ricans in attendance, and the entire country, will be at his side on the night of the fight.

"He can feel inspired because he's going to have Margarito at his side, but I am going to more inspired because I am going to have Puerto Rico by my side. He might have one source of special motivation and I have thousands," Calderon said.

Some expect the physically bigger Cazares to have the advantage because of his size/weight advantage by the time he rehydrates and steps in the ring for the fight. Calderon says Cazares can't hurt what he can't hit.

"For him to be realy heavy by the time we get to the ring will only be an advantage for him if he touches me. But if doesn't touch me, he is going to feel the effect of that extra weight, since I am going to be a lot faster than him and he is going to get tired," Calderon said.
