WBA junior welterweight champion Adrien Broner (31-2, 23KOs) is still waiting for his next fight to get put together.

Broner rebounded from June loss to Shawn Porter, by winning his current title with a twelfth round stoppage of Khabib Allakhverdiev on October 3rd.

After the fight, Broner gave a televised interview and publicly called out Ashley Theophane - a member of Floyd Mayweather's promotional stable, TMT [The Money Team].

It didn't take long before Theophane, and other members of TMT, were firing back with their own verbal attacks.

Broner was angered by some of the comments and directed his fury at the entire TMT crew. Although Broner and Mayweather are close friends, TMT is Floyd's creation and he took offense at some of statement that were made.

Mayweather called Broner, who regrets making the statements, to hash it out on the phone.

"Sometimes it be the heat of the moment," Broner told Hot 97. "I just did it on TMZ, at the BET Awards. I think it was TMZ..it was something. I was already mad because Ive been hearing the TMT boys have been saying 'f***' Adrien and all of that. So I come out and they got the cameras, and I'm thinking that's all he's gonna ask, so I'm like 'f*** the TMT, I f*** with Floyd.' I could have worded that differently. And big bro actually called me about that. He was pretty upset. It's all love though."
