The man who earned the nickname of 'The 'Khanqueror - Colombian puncher Breidis Prescott believes WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32 KOs) could stop Amir 'King' Khan (31-3, 19 KOs) in six rounds.

Canelo-Khan takes place on May 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. HBO Pay-Per-View will carry bout.

Back in 2008, Prescott made a big name for himself when he handed Khan his first loss with a brutal 54 second knockout. Some felt Khan would never recover from that loss, but to his credit he came back even stronger.

Against Canelo, Khan will move up by eight pounds to catch-weight of 155-pounds. The fight was Prescott took place at the lightweight limit of 135-pounds, when Khan was an 18-0 star in the making and trained by Cuban coach Jorge Rubio.

Prescott admits that he never heard of Khan when the two of them collided seven years ago.

"When I first went over there I was a young fighter and I didn't even realise who I was fighting," Prescott told Sky Sports. "I didn't even know it was Amir Khan. I was confident and thought I would fight well, but I didn't even know until that day who Amir Khan was. It was the biggest moment of my life when I caught him with that one-two. Then I just kept on him until I had finished him off."

When the announcement came down last month that Khan was leaving the welterweight division to challenge for the WBC's 160-pound title, everyone was surprised. Prescott was among the many who was stunned by Khan's decision to take such a dangerous fight.

Khan feels confident of victory, based on his clear advantage in speed. Prescott also gives him a shot, based on speed, but feels the size and strength of Canelo will be too much to overcome. The Colombian fighter says Khan is a very talented boxer, but his chin betrays him when facing strong punchers.

"Yes it surprised me, but Amir Khan has a chance because he has the speed," said Prescott. "Saul has the strength, so Khan has to be careful and keep using his speed. He's taking a chance, but it's going to be a great fight, a hard fight.

"Amir Khan is an excellent fighter. The only reason he has lost is because his jaw doesn't hold a strong punch - and Saul has a strong punch. But that is the only reason he's lost fights in the past. I think Alvarez could stop him within six rounds."
