Former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley is not buying Manny Pacquiao's explanation for his lackluster performance against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd. Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

After the fight, Pacquiao said his performance was affected by a pre-existing right shoulder injury which became worse in the fourth round. Pacquiao also felt Mayweather was the wrongful victor, believing that he should have unseated the pound-for-pound king with a seven/five score of 115-113.

Bradley, who is stablemates with Pacquiao under Top Rank, fought the Filipino star twice - winning a controversial decision the first time and losing a twelve round decision in the rematch.

He says Pacquiao should have kept quite about the injury, and he probably wouldn't be the target of a post-fight backlash from the many fans who were disappointed with the action.

"That's bullsh*t. If the injury is legit that's fine, but making excuses and sh*t after your loss and not giving Floyd his credit for beating you - that's bullsh*t. I was injured in the first fight with Manny Pacquiao, still gave him credit. In the second fight, I was injured in the second round and made no excuses," Bradley told Fight Hub.

"I tore my calf in the second round [of the rematch]. I don't even think I mentioned it. I took my [loss] like a man. That's what Pacquiao should have done. He should have kept his mouth shut and he wouldn't be in the position that he's in right now."
