In a recent interview with ringtv.com's Lem Satterfield, newly crowned IBF welterweight champion Randall Bailey (43-7, 37KOs) said that he would like to face Tim Bradley (29-0, 12KOs) in a unification bout but didn't believe the WBO champion would face him.
"Tim Bradley doesn't want any part of fighting me. Not even in his wildest dreams," Bailey would state.
After defeating Manny Pacquiao, a fight against Bailey seems unlikely as Bradley will likely seek to capitalize on his newly found fame by securing a higher profile opponent. Bradley confirmed this in our recent conversation as he fired back at Bailey for his remarks.
"There is no money in that (fight) at all and it's easy work. I would go to jail for whooping a senior citizen's ass and that's not right!" Bradley explained.
The Palm Springs, CA based Bradley has received a lot of criticism since his controversial split decision victory over Manny Pacquiao. Bradley takes the outrage he has heard from the fans and others in stride and said that for the rest of his career he is just looking for the biggest possible fights.
"Its all business from here on out. I'm the new most hated fighter in the world," Bradley told BoxingScene.com
