Former two division world champion Timothy Bradley is not giving Jermell Charlo much of a chance to overcome Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

Charlo, the undisputed world champion at junior middleweight, will move up by two full weight classes to challenge Canelo for his undisputed crown at super middleweight.

Their bout will headline a Showtime Pay-Per-View event on September 30th in Las Vegas.

Canelo was initially slated to face older brother Jermall Charlo, who holds the WBC middleweight title.

Jermall, inactive for over two years, indicated to Premier Boxing Champions that he wouldn't be ready in time for the September date.

Jermell, widely viewed as the more talented of the two brothers, stepped up to the plate to take the fight.

"I personally think this fight is a mismatch. I still think it does astronomical numbers, because it’s Canelo Alvarez and he’s facing an African American. If anybody’s banking on Charlo to knock Canelo out, you can wish that goodbye - because Canelo has one of the best chins in all of boxing," Bradley told Fighthype.com.

"It’s going to be a tall, tall task for Charlo. But if he somehow pulls this off? Wow.... because he would cement himself as one of the pound-for-pound guys of today.”

Canelo saw action back in May, when he picked up a twelve round unanimous decision over John Ryder.

For his past, Charlo entered the ring in May of last year, when he blasted out Brian Castano to unify the junior middleweight division.

Charlo was scheduled to face mandatory Tim Tszyu in January, but the fight got pushed back when Charlo suffered a handy injury and was forced to withdraw.
