In his first fight since the April decision loss to Manny Pacquiao, former two division champion Timothy Bradley (31-1, 12KOs) will return to the ring on December 13th at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The HBO televised fight will feature Bradley going up against Diego Chaves (23-2, 19 KOs), who fought at the venue in August where he lost by disqualification to Brandon Rios.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Top Rank has already requested with the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The NSAC is going to approve the date at Tuesday's meeting.
“(Bradley-Chaves) is in the works,” Top Rank vice president Carl Moretti said to the paper. “We think the Cosmo is a first-class venue that plays well for boxing.”
