The reigning WBC welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir is oozing with confidence towards his November 4 mega-fight with pound-for-pound king, Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
Baldomir, the welterweight Cinderella Man, knows that Mayweather is good, but feels that if he applies the same pressure he applied on Arturo Gatti and Zab Judah, his will win the fight. Baldomir tells the Philadelphia Daily News, that he will not allow Mayweather to breathe.
"Mayweather is very good, but I can beat him," Baldomir. "I'm going right at him. I'm going to keep attacking and not give him a chance to breathe or move. Mayweather has never fought anyone like me before."
Baldomir is used to playing the role of the underdog, as he did against Zab Judah and Arturo Gatti. He is going to be a huge underdog to Mayweather, but is prepared shock the world once again.
