Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has denied the circulated rumor that a catch-weight of 150-pounds has been proposed for the rematch between Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito, taking place on December 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Any talk of a catch-weight is "false," says Arum. The first press conference with the boxers will be held on September 19 in Puerto Rico. There will be additional tour stops in New York, Mexico and Los Angeles.

No decision has been made on the network to handle the pay-per-view distribution. Because of a written agreement for Cotto's March fight with Ricardo Mayorga, Showtime gets the right of first refusal. HBO, who officially secure the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez trilogy on Friday, will make a big proposal to get Cotto's rematch with Margarito.

"We'll start the tour on Monday after the fight between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Victor Ortiz. Puerto Rico will be the first stop and then we'll continue to New York and Mexico City before ending at Los Angeles. Undoubtedly, Showtime will roll up their sleeves to make a good proposal for the fight between Cotto and Margarito," Arum told Carlos Gonzalez.
