Junior middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo (22-3, 18KOs) has given high praise to Amir Khan, and WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward, for helping him prepare for the upcoming fight with former WBA/WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs). The fight is taking place on March 8th from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Angulo, Khan and Ward are all trained by veteran coach Virgil Hunter.

"It was very good. The truth is, I don't think Canelo has the hand speed of Khan. Khan has very impressive hand speed, and it will help me a lot in the fight with Canelo because if I can see Khan's punches [coming], then I can see those of Canelo. And boxing Andre Ward, I think the name says it all. He is an excellent fighter, a great boxer. We are prepared for anything, if [Canelo] comes to fight or if he comes to box we'll close the exits. We are preparing for anything. We are going to defend well. At first I had trouble boxing with Ward, but gradually I began to succeed," Angulo said.
