A small cut that Amir Khan suffered during his recent technical decision win over Marco Antonio Barrera, will prevent him from sparring with Manny Pacquiao. Khan had planned to spar with Pacquaio to help prepare him for the May 2 bout with Ricky Hatton. Khan and Pacquiao share the same trainer, Freddie Roach. He still plans to join Pacquiao in training camp in April, but there will be no sparring between the two. Khan had four stitches taken out from a cut above his eye on Wednesday. The doctor told him that it needs a few more weeks to heal.

Although there has been some tension from Hatton over Khan's assistance to Pacquiao, the Bolton fighter claims that he will be neutral come fight night. Khan is friends with both fighters.

"I am not going to support anyone, I am just going to enjoy myself. I am going to be happy for both of them. What a massive fight it is," Khan said.
