Amir Khan is the only fighter to have shared the ring with both Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford, and now he is offering his take on who comes out on top when the two meet on September 13.
“I do lean more towards Crawford in this fight because he’s the fresher fighter. He’s not been in too many wars like Canelo’s been in,” Khan told Sky Sports Boxing.
Khan acknowledged both men are great fighters, but noted Alvarez’s “slow feet” and said he was “easier to hit” than expected, while also crediting him for having quicker hands than he anticipated, along with his power.
