WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan (24-1, 17KOs) believes a nice, stiff jab is the key to beating his WBC/WBO counterpart Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11KOs). Khan watched Bradley's technical decision win over Devon Alexander from last Saturday. He saw exposable flaws in the style of Bradley. Once he gets the jab going, he would then apply pressure with constant movement to frustrate Bradley.
"I'd just give him a stiff jab, sting his confidence, work him back. Then I would frustrate him, work him from side to side, duck and slip those shots and put him under pressure," Khan told Johnny Nelson of Sky Sports News.
Khan returns on April 16 at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England. A date of July 30 has been proposed for a potential unification clash between Khan and Bradley.
