Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs) is planning to push the pace against WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs) on November 22nd in Macau, China.

Pacquiao turns 36 next month. Algieri wants to bring the fight to the champion. Although Algieri is moving up, he is physically the much bigger man and believes a hard, tough pace will trouble the Filipino star.

Algieri wants "to dominate Pacquiao" with movement, his jab and high volume activity.

"I'm looking to hit the gas. We've been sparring twelve to thirteen 4 minute rounds, with 30 seconds rest and 40 seconds rest and multiple guys rotating in. Pace is not going to be an issue. I've got to go out there and get in the old lion's face - and push the action. I'm a fast paced fighter as well. Ruslan is always putting on a lot of pressure. Even when he's not throwing punches, he's always moving forward and always cutting off the ring. Manny has push and pull and start and stop, so it's different pressure between the three of us but we all put on a lot of pressure on our opponents," Algieri told BoxingScene.com.
