MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Former two-division champion Devon Alexander (26-2, 14KOs) says reporters are constantly asking him about the speed of Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs), and rarely mention any of his other qualities. The two fighters collide on Saturday night in the main event of an HBO televised tripleheader.

"He may the fastest guy I fought, but I've fought plenty of fast guys. I guess you have to say something about his arsenal. I'm fast too, but is that all you can say about Amir Khan...that he's fast? I'm fast too. What else can you say about him, that he has? Don't nobody talk about it," Alexander said.

Alexander is confident that he possesses enough speed, and boxing ability, to overcome anything from Khan.

"For people who have fought me, they know what I am capable of doing. They know the power that I possess and I just have to be mentally ready. I just have to follow the game plane and capitalize on his mistakes," Alexander said.
