According to an interview with Carl Froch in the Nottingham Post, the Super Six clash with Arthur Abraham may get pushed back even further, from September 18 to October 2. The fight was going to take place in August but the two sides continue to battle over the site location. Froch wants the fight to happen in Nottingham, America or Canada. Abraham's side want the fight in Germany or an alternate location in Europe.

Froch doesn't care how much money he is offered by promotional company Sauerland Event, he will not fight Abraham in Germany. He blames a hometown decision for the recent decision loss to Mikkel Kessler, who shares the same promoter as Abraham.

"This fight is not about money," said Froch. "Money doesn't matter at this stage of my career. It's about winning my world title back, unifying the belts and cementing my legacy in the super-middleweight division.

"And it's not going to happen if I'm forced to fight in Germany. I'd have no chance of winning after what happened against Mikkel Kessler in Denmark. I've heard talk of venues in Monaco, Germany, Hungary and France but they can forget them."
