Heavyweights Michael Wallisch, 19-0, and Christian Hammer, 23-5, meet December 15 at the Sporthalle in Hamburg on a big dinner show promoted by EC Boxing and Michael Wollenbach, a prominent chef who now obtained a promoter´s license, reports BILD.

The unbeaten Wallisch have been around since 2010 but his career have for various reasons mainly outside the ring never really taken off even if he does hold the GBU title.

Hammer, a pro since 2008, have been in with some of the big boys and won some of them. Also on the bill in Hamburg is Karo Murat´s defence of the IBO light heavyweight title against Sven Fornling. This will be a big dinner show held at the Hamburger Sporthalle promoted by EC Boxing.

48-year old former WBA champ and current GBU king Firat Arslan, 44-8-2, defends the title against Sefer Seferi, 23-2, November 17 in Goeppingen (Germany). Seferi was last seen getting outlcassed by Tyson Fury but is likely to be a different fighter in his right weight division.

Belgian Ryan Merhy have withdrawn from his position as official challenger for EBU champ Yves Ngabu so there will not be an all Belgian megafight - at least not now. Ngabu previously saw Alexandro Jur getting removed from the position as official challenger after losing a fight to Dmitry Kudryashov. New official challenger for the title is Dane Micki Nielsen and the EBU have set October 17 as deadline for agreements or purse bids.

Robert Helenius put up his best performance since say 2011 (when he beat Sergej Lyakhovich and Samuel Peter) in knocking out Erkan Teper this past weekend.

The Nordic Nightmare can now once again look forward to bigger and better fights and got the power in both hands to make a difference. Robert has quite naturally relinquished his position as challenger for the vacant EU title (as Teper previously had done).

Abigail Medina has relinquished the EBU super bantamweight title to concentrate on a world title fight. According to Medina will take on Japanese Tomoki Kameda for the WBC interim title. The "real" champ, Rey Vargas, is sidelined with an injury.
