Adrien “The Problem” Broner, a four-time world champion in four weight divisions, continues his return to land a big fight in the junior welterweight division as he meets another Cincinnati, OH fighter in Chris Howard (18-2-1, 8 KOs) for the “People’s Championship” set for Saturday, Dec. 2.

Adrien Broner still has to do the job in the ring. For now, the former four-division titlist is at least on point to fight. Cincinnati’s Broner proudly stepped on the Florida Athletic Commission scale, where was right at the 147-pound limit for his scheduled 10-round welterweight bout versus Pittsburgh’s Bill Hutchinson who was 145 ½ pounds.

Fringe light heavyweight contender Yunieski Gonzalez will square off against Alex Theran tonight in a 10-round bout at The InterContinental in Miami, Florida. At Thursday’s weigh-in, Gonzalez weighed in at 173 pounds. Theran weighed 189 pounds, 14 pounds above the light heavyweight limit.

Last night, Irish middleweight prospect Connor "The Kid" Coyle (10-0, 3 KOs) turned in an impressive Las Vegas debut, winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Robert Burwell in the main event, at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas.
