Zuffa Boxing is already nearing 100 active fighters on its growing roster and continues to pick up steam seemingly on a daily basis.

In his Zuffa Boxing debut, Austria’s Umar Dzambekov unleashed a hellacious right-handed uppercut to deliver a vicious second-round knockout of Ahmed Elbiali.

Umar Dzambekov will face veteran Ahmed Elbiali in a scheduled 10-rounder in the co-feature slot of the February 15 “Zuffa Boxing 03” show at Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

WBA Continental Americas middleweight titleholder Ian Green is set to face Roy Barringer in the headliner of an April 27 card at the Casino Miami Jai-Alai in Miami.

The manager of Dmitry Bivol has revealed a shortlist of opponents his team has in mind for his charge’s long awaited return to the ring. Bivol, the WBA 175-pound titlist from Russia, has not fought since he soundly outpointed Gilberto Ramirez one year ago, in November. Prior to that win, Bivol was coming off the biggest moment of his professional career, a unanimous decision over 168-pound undisputed champion Canelo Alvarez.

Ahmed Elbiali was forced to sweat out his latest win. The once promising light heavyweight extended his win streak to seven in a row after a narrow unanimous decision over Rodolfo Gomez. All three judges scored the contest 95-94 for Elbiali in the co-feature of a Don King-promoted Fite TV Pay-Per-View extravaganza Friday evening from Casino Miami Jai Alai.

Adrien Broner still has to do the job in the ring. For now, the former four-division titlist is at least on point to fight. Cincinnati’s Broner proudly stepped on the Florida Athletic Commission scale, where was right at the 147-pound limit for his scheduled 10-round welterweight bout versus Pittsburgh’s Bill Hutchinson who was 145 ½ pounds.

Deerfield Beach, FL – Adrien “The Problem” Broner, a four division world champion, returns to the ring against William “Hutch” Hutchinson in a ten-round welterweight bout in the main event on Friday, June 9 at Casino Miami.

Six undercard clashes have been announced as part of the “Let Freedom Ring! Clash of the Champions!” event presented by Don King Promotions at Casino Miami Jai-Alai on Saturday, Jan. 21.

The long wait for a heavyweight clash to materialize between Trevor Bryan and Daniel Dubois was extended to the final pre-fight weigh-in. The absence of an official scale caused an hour-long delay before the pair of heavyweights could officially check in for their secondary WBA heavyweight title fight. The show eventually moved forward, with Bryan and Dubois complying with commission requirements to proceed with their main event at Casino Miami Jai Alai (Saturday, Fite TV PPV, $29.99).
