WBA Continental Americas middleweight titleholder Ian Green is set to face Roy Barringer in the headliner of an April 27 card at the Casino Miami Jai-Alai in Miami.

Green (18-2, 12 KOs), a native of Paterson, N.J., is a fan favorite at Casino Miami and winner of six fights in a row. Barringer (10-4, 6 KOs), a hard-hitting challenger from Toledo, Ohio, will try to halt Green’s momentum in the event, entitled "The Quest for the Best.”

Additionally, Miami’s Ahmed Elbiali (23-1, 18 KOs), who holds the NABA/NABF light heavyweight title, will try to show off his explosive power against undefeated Sergio Jimenez (13-0-1, 11 KOs) of San Pedro, California.

WBC International lightweight titleholder Antonio Perez (9-0, 5 KOs) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, will put his title up against Oscar Acevedo (9-1) of Los Angeles.

Scheduled undercard fights include DeVon Williams (4-0, 4 KOs) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, facing Julio Tanori (1-1, 1 KO) for the WBC Youth Intercontinental junior welterweight title; Angel Perez (9-0, 7 KOs) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, taking on Nigel Fennell (13-3, 8 KOs) of Chula Vista, California; Lawrence Newton (16-0, 7 KOs) of Boynton Beach, Florida, challenging Colombia’s Luis Tenorio (10-0, 8 KOs); and Chicago’s Semajay Thomas (11-1, 8 KOs) against an opponent to be determined.
