WBA lightweight champion Richar Abril (18-3-1, 8KOs) has no fear of defending his title against Jorge Linares (34-3, 22KOs) on November 10th in Tokyo, Japan. Linares is co-promoted by Japan's Mr. Honda of Teiken Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions of the United States. Abril has not fought since March when he won a twelve round decision over previously undefeated Sharif Bogere.

"Nobody wants to fight me and it's frustrating that it's so hard to find an opponet, but now it's over and I'm happy that Linares has accepted the challenge. I have absolutely no fear of traveling to Japan. I've never been afraid to fight anywhere  necessary and anywhere that I'm asked to fight. This title cost me a lot of effort and I'm not going to lose," Abril told George Ebro.
