Anyway, sounds like Canelos gonna drop that title and face Lemieux this sept...GGGSaunders later in the yr....Im speculating
At least Cotto won it at 159 against Martinez.... Canelo coming in at 172+ every fight masquerading as a JMW with a Middleweight title at his own made up weight class

        And I'll third it!

Lemieux showed the kind of spirit that we as fans once used to expect from a champion when he went straight up against GGG after winning the IBF belt.

He showed the same spirit and integrity when he stood up and fought on like a man after being hit while down by Golovkin, instead of trying to milk it and get GGG disqualified or the fight called off as a no-contest.

Lemieux is big at the weight, so he won't be going down to 155, even if Canelo wants to fight him.

Canelo vs Lemieux at 160 would be a great fight. I want to see if Canelo at 160 has enough power to dent a real MW, because at 155, he wouldn't be able to do that.

So far, you could count them on one finger.

Ha..This is true. Everyone wants a crack at the title, but when they've got one to lose its a different story.

I understand them wanting a payday, but then its time to man up. Lucas Browne just won wba paper title, but is keen to mix it up with the best to get his payday - its a win win. Pitty he isn't at that top level, but he showed there's always that punchers chance.

Unless it's Golovkin jabbing his face off, this guy is still hella fun to watch in the ring. He's got that ferocious Tyson style going on, and only has one speed for his punches. Nutcase! :box2:

Of the current MWs, he'd stop Saunders in the late rounds; Lee would be blasted away early; and against Jacobs it'd be 50/50 as to who would land the first fight-ending bomb.

              War Lem-yooooooooo!

If Lemieux fights on the Canelo/Khan undercard, he'll be sharing the undercard with Curtis Stevens. Sounds like a good way to setup a fight between those two for the fall.

Lemieux is a warrior looking for top challenges, while BJS is a phony with a sore vag

I don't see how anyone could not appreciate Lemieux. He may not be the greatest fighter around, but he still tries to put on a show and isn't afraid to take a huge step up.

Where were all these purists when Pacquiao was draining champions to 145 and winning vacant belts at 150?
