  • Comments Thread For: Demetrius Andrade: What Plant Did To Dirrell, I Would Be Doing To Plant

While he enjoyed his time as a world champion at 160-pounds, Demetrius Andrade's time near the top of the middleweight mountain had essentially come to an end. Though he could have opted to defend his middleweight crown against mandatory contender Janibek Alimkhanuly, the 34-year-old realized that from a financial standpoint, facing the young and hungry Kazakhstan star wasn't in his best interest.

Never liked the guy for his fight skills then he was always be annoying when he opened his mouth. Also he talked a big show but never showed up for any real fights that mattered never seemed to test himself, add to that he could never finish a fight even if he used a little bit of aggression to his fight plan, he always would back off like he was affraid that a fight might break out and he would have to be in it. Too many other fighers out there that make interesting fights he never has.

If he couldn’t KO Liam Williams who was completely embarrassed by Eubank, I’m not sure he can stop Plant

Delusional Demetrius at it again. Very hard to believe this since it’s coming from the same guy who dropped his WBO middleweight strap to avoid fighting Janibek.

Some good fights at 168 even without Canelo involved being made. Let's see if it continues into next year. Both Andrade and Munguia need a name on their resume let's see if they take similar steps to Plant and Benevidez.

All of these comments are spot on for a guy with no team your barking up a tree of a guy who has a fight scheduled vs Benavidez now Andrade needs to retire instead of begging for pay days or an attempt at one you should have just fought freakin Zack Parker for 1.q million Big Dope
