  • Klitschko vs Povetkin Not Likely For September

BoxingScene.com was advised by Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event that Alexander Povetkin's shot at WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is likely not going to happen in September but he expects the fight to take place by the end of the year. Povetkin is the mandatory challenger to Klitschko's IBF title. He was set to fight Klitschko last December. An injury during training forced him to withdraw and he was replaced by Hasim Rahman.

Thanks to Haye messing him around.

Hopefully he'll be back on schedule next year, and has his usual 3 fights.

Wlad wanted to fight Hypejob Haye in March or April, but the ***** Haye delayed and insisted the fight be on June 20, then the coward Haye bitches out again 2 weeks before the fight.

He did plan to fight at least 3 times this year.

Wlad wanted to fight someone in March or April, but Haye wanting to fight him on June 20, so he didn't take an earlier fight. Now Povetkin wants a warm-up, and Wlad's plans for the fall likewise changed.

He should tell Povetkin and Atlas to go f*** themselves and fight his WBO mandatory Eddie Chambers in October.

Can't blame Haye for Wlad not fighting in Sept. and Dec.

He should fight Haye now then. It's some BS if Chambers gets a shot before Povetkin.
