Zimnoch Beats Binkowski, Glowacki Demolishes Hall

Kopalnia Soli, Wieliczka, Poland - Kopalnia Soli, Wieliczka, Poland - In the main event of the evening, rising heavyweight contender Krzysztof Zimnoch (17-0-1, 11 KOs) outpointing overmatched veteran countryman Art Binkowski (16-4-3, 11 KOs) over eight rounds. Binkowski, 38-years-old and fighting just for the second time in six years, didn't just come for a payday and tried his best to remain competitive. He troubled Zimnoch with his right hands in the first and had a good round five. Otherwise, it was Zimnoch's fight, as he mixed left hands and uppercuts to keep Binkowski at bay. The younger man pressed forward in the closing rounds but failed to stop a wobbled Binkowski inside the scheduled distance.

WBO #6 and IBF #9 rated cruiserweight Krzysztof Glowacki (20-0, 13 KOs) looked good in a quick annihilation over fading Jamaican veteran Richard Hall (30-14, 28 KOs). The Polish southpaw didn't waste any time in hurting the 41-year old ex-champion. In round two he rocked him with hard right hands to the body, then wobbled him again in the third and finally sent him down hard with a damaging left hand. Hall got up and survived till the bell but only to retire on his stool during the break. He suffered his sixth loss in a row.

Cruiserweight Michal Cieslak (2-0) outpointed durable journeyman Lukasz Rusiewicz (14-16, 7 KOs) unanimously over four.

rld title challenger Rafal Jackiewicz (43-11-2, 21 KOs) got back into the winning column and decisioned inexperienced Michal Zerominski (5-1, 1 KO) over eight workmanlike rounds. Scores were: 80-72 (twice) and 78-74 - for Jackiewicz. BoxingScene had it 79-73 - also for him.

Former amateur standout and Felix Stamm's tournament winner Kamil Szeremeta (5-0) easily schooled fight veteran Daniel Urbanski (21-14-3, 5 KOs) over six one-sided rounds to get a unanimous decision in a battle of super middleweights.

Czech-based, Poland-developed Russian Ismail Teboev (7-5-1, 3 KOs) failed to avenge his 2011 loss to Robert Swierzbinski (12-2, 3 KOs). The Polish fighter outpointed Teboev unanimously over four.
