IBO/WBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49KOs) is planning to fight three times in 2012. He already has a unified defense scheduled for March 3rd in Dusseldorf, against former cruiserweight champion Jean-Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22KOs). Klitschko will then meet his mandatory obligation against the IBF's number one ranked challenger, Tony Thompson. Klitschko previously stopped Thompson (36-2, 24KOs) in eleven rounds in 2008. The Thompson rematch will happen on July 7th or July 14th, according to Wladimir. After those two fights are resolved, Wladimir would like to have his third appearance of the year in the month of October.
