On the heels of establishing a ratings record for its PBC (Premier Boxing Champions) Fight Camp series, Saturday’s PBC Countdown special dedicated to the Nov. 23 Fox Sports Pay-Per-View pulled a season-best 686,000 viewers according to Nielsen Media Research. The hour-long reality-style segment aired deep into the evening, debuting in the East Coast immediately following network coverage of college football (shortly after 11:30pm ET) and 11:00pm in the Pacific time zone (PT), well beyond primetime network coverage and with competing boxing telecasts on two separate platforms.

It’s where the majority of his time has been spent since turning pro nearly 10 years ago, including for his first heavyweight title fight with Wilder in which he suffered a heartbreaking 10th round knockout last March.
You can count Deontay Wilder among those looking forward to another entry into the Rocky series. The unbeaten heavyweight titlist has plenty of present day business on which to focus, as he prepares for his Nov. 23 rematch with Luis Ortiz. That hasn’t prevented him from already thinking ahead to the future, one which he hopes includes his presence on the silver screen.
