WBA 'regular' featherweight champion Nicholas Walters (24-0, 20KOs) is not focused on securing a twelve round decision win this coming Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. He wants to score an impressive knockout victory over Nonito Donaire (33-2, 21KOs), who owns the WBA's super title at 126-pounds.
Donaire has never been stopped. Walters admits that achieving a knockout victory could be a very tough task to accomplish. He might be forced to work very hard in order to get that knockout, but he's willing to do whatever it takes to get there.
"I didn't say that it will be an easy night. Maybe I have to work hard for the knockout, but I'm going to work for the knockout. That's it. Maybe I have to work hard for the knockout, but I'm going to work for it. I'm going for the knockout," Walters told BoxingScene.com.
"Nonito is a tough fighter, but he's a fighter. I'm going to go in there and do what I do best, listen to my corner and go in there with everything."
