Red Owl Boxing announced that rising welterweight prospects Quashawn Toler and Vlad Panin will meet for the WBA Continental title in the main event of Box Fest VII on February 2. The event streams live globally on DAZN in more than 200 territories and regions from the state-of-the-art “Owl’s Nest” in Houston.

Young prospects and unbeaten fighters will take the stage tonight in Oxnard, California. Welterweight Vlad Panin will face Cristian Mino in a six-round bout at the Performing Arts Center, with first bell scheduled for 6 p.m. PT.

The main event will renew boxing’s long-standing rivalry of Puerto Rico vs. Mexico as undefeated prospect Luis Feliciano (15-0, 8 KOs) faces off against Mexico’s Alejandro Frias (13-6-2, 6 KOs) in an 8-round super lightweight bout.

Angel “Moreno” Rodriguez (11-1, 8 KOs), the hard-hitting super lightweight prospect of Pico Rivera, California, made quick work of Gabriel Gutierrez (7-14, 5 KOs) of El Paso, Texas by stopping him via second-round knockout in a MarvNation Promotions main event on Saturday evening at the Derby Room in Pomona, California. The fight headlined a card that was streamed live on FITE TV Pay-Per-View.

Welterweight Vlad Panin says he was “surprised” by Logan Paul in sparring and does not believe that Floyd Mayweather Jr will knock him out. Mayweather takes on Paul in an eight-round exhibition at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, with the YouTuber fighting for the first time since losing to fellow social media sensation, KSI in November 2019.

A change in testing protocol allowed Benjamin Whitaker to proceed with his welterweight preliminary bout versus ‘Superbad’ Vlad Panin on Thursday evening at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
