At the The O2 in Dublin, Ireland, heavyweight prospect Tyson Fury (9-0, 7 KOs) won an unexpected six round decision over Tomas Mrazek (4-23-5, 3 KOs). The sole score of 60-50 was given. Fury managed to scored a knockdown in the sixth and final round but wasn not able to finish his opponent off. Most at ringside were shocked that Mrazek was able to take Fury the distance.
The fight comes one two weeks after Fury's controversial decision win over John McDermott. The British Board has ordered a rematch to take place before the end of December. Following the win over Mrazek, Fury cited an injured hand. It's interesting if the injury will keep him out of the McDermott rematch.
