Former UFC champion Tyron Woodley is not planning to have a one and done boxing career.
In the month of August, the 39-year-old Woodley is going to make his professional boxing debut against Youtube star Jake Paul (3-0, 3 KOs).
The fight will headline a Showtime Pay-Per-View card.
Woodley aims to blast out Paul - and then wants to fight again in the fall.
"I want to fight twice this year," Woodley said to TMZ ... "I fight [Jake Paul] on August 28 and I think around November, I'll be ready to box again."
Woodley admits that the money involved in facing Paul was a huge driving force in making his boxing debut against the 24-year-old social media star.
"The best thing that's happened in the last 24 hours is I'm smiling that my market value is where it's at," Woodley said ... "You won't put me in the clearance rack."
Woodley is calling Paul the "easiest fight" of his career.
But, Paul is predicting a knockout victory within two rounds.
"If you ever dream of knocking me out, wake up and apologize," Woodley said.
"[The reason I said he'll be the easiest fight my career], it's not because he's an easy fight, but because I'm gonna train my ass off and I'm gonna make it an easy fight."
Woodley is viewed as the most dangerous opponent of Paul's career.
The Youtuber has yet to face an opponent with any boxing experience, but Woodley can punch and at one-time was viewed as one of the best mixed martial artists in the world.
Back in April, Paul stopped MMA veteran Ben Askren in the first round. Askren is good friends with Woodley.
