Renowned Mexican coach Manny Robles said IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz will be better prepared for the upcoming rematch with Anthony Joshua on December 7 in Saudi Arabia.

In the first bout, which took place in June, Ruiz accepted the bout on late notice after original opponent Jarrell Miller  was pulled from the fight after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

Ruiz dropped Joshua four times before the fight was eventually stopped in the seventh round.

Unlike the first fight, Ruiz will have 12 weeks to completely focused on Joshua, and not five when it came to their June encounter.

“In this fight Andy is going to confirm that it was not luck that gave him the victory in the first fight, we worked harder and we did not take our feet off the ground, because the opponent is coming in there to the best. We know that the opponent will come with everything to try to recover what he lost,” said Robles to ESPN Deportes.

“We will confirm that it was no accident or luck. It's true, in boxing anything can happen, but we're going to get ready to give everything in the ring, just like the opponent will do."

Manny highlighted Andy's approach at all times, although the siege of media and fans has been historic for the entire team.

“I am satisfied because there is always room for improvement, there is always room for more, and I feel that this camp was better than those in the past, we had more time to get ready for this fight, the sparring was better, they demanded a lot, and I am happy for that,” said Robles.

“It has not been easy to deal with the pressure, it has been one thing or another every day, we have been working and every day there is something.. they want to interview him, invite him to an event, they wait for him outside for autographs and photos, and sometimes he has had to say no because no matter how much you want do it, sometimes you can't. Hopefully they understand, because if the first fight was important than this will be even more so and we need more focus."
