T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas - In a long-awaited welterweight showdown for the WBO, IBF, WBC, WBA world titles, Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) dropped Errol Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) three times and beat him down for a stoppage in the ninth to become undisputed.

Spence was down from a hard jab at the end of the second. In the seventh, he was decked by an uppercut and then by a right hook at the end of the round. By the fourth round, Spence's face was bruised and swelling up from Crawford's heavy jab.
