Vlad Eliseev’s Top Boxing Generation returns to the Stereo Plaza in Kyiv on March 30 in association with Balu Fighting League Pro.
The main-event will see Nazri Rahimov (13-3, 7 KOs) lock horns with Colombia’s Jorge Moya (15-4-1, 4 KO) for a WBC youth silver super lightweight title with the bout scheduled for 10 rounds.
Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, Eliseev and TBG continue to push forward having had three shows last year in the war-torn country. Boxing halted for 10 months in the Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, but TBG returned to Kiev on April 22, 2023. Eliseev and his promotion continued with two more events in Bovari and the Ukrainian capital to see out the year. Oleksandr Drozd (5-0, 2 KOs) scored a points victory over Dmytro Tsiupka (7-3, 4 KOs) three weeks ago in recovering Kyiv to begin 2024.
Rahimov defeated Panama’s Irving Berry with a 10th round knockout last August, and the 22-year-old followed it up with a points victory over Ghenadie Gitlan in January. Rahimov has racked up four consecutive victories since a contentious unanimous decision loss to Antoine Vanackere in Belgium, where he was deducted two points.
Local prospects Danylo Lozan (10-0, 6 KOs) and Andrii Skakun (8-1-1, 6 KOs) support the main event alongside super middleweight hopeful Ramil Gadzhiev (14-2-1, 9 KOs).
Balu Fighting League Pro’s Kostyantyn Korenev (8-0, 5 KOs) and Denis Korenev (12-0, 6 KOs) will also be in action.
TBG’s next event is to be broadcast on Ukrainian streaming service Megogo with an English language broadcaster to be announced.
