Self-promoted and self-managed, Metcalf has compiled a 10-3-1 record, most notably fighting to a draw against current world champion Jamie Mitchell and a victory over Britain Hart, against whom Mitchell also drew with. Metcalf balances her boxing career along with being a single mother of 2, a personal trainer and an entrepreneur of several businesses.

In attendance ringside at the event were many notables of the DFW fight world, including two-time world champion Paulie Ayala, trainer Derrick James and Dallas mayor Eric Johnson.
