Roy Jones Jr. Leaning To Hopkins To Defeat Kovalev
HBO expert analyst and former four division world champion, Roy Jones Jr., is leaning in the direction of his former opponent, WBA/IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (55-6-2, 32KOs), to defeat WBO champion Sergey Kovalev (25-0-1, 23KOs) on November 8th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Jones, who defeated Hopkins in 1993 and then lost to him seventeen years later in 2010, gives his conqueror a good shot to win - as long as he's able to withstand the likely early storm. Kovalev has never gone beyond eight rounds, stopping most of his victims in the first six rounds.
