Sultan Zaurbek won the WBO European super featherweight title as he defeated Ronnie Clark in the main event of an action-packed MTK Fight Night in Kazakhstan on Saturday.

Ronnie Clark is set for his first fight in nearly three-and-a-half years when he meets Sultan Zaurbek on Saturday's MTK Fight Night - and he's promised that he will show the fans exactly what they have been missing.

Tursynbay Kulakhmet will take on an extremely dangerous opponent during his homecoming next month - as he meets hard-hitting Ukrainian Stanyslav Skorokhod when MTK Fight Night heads to Kazakhstan.

Sam Bowen is on the hunt for a new opponent after Ronnie Clark pulled out. The British super-featherweight champion had been set to take on the Dundee man on February 23. Bowen, who was last in action at the Morningside Arena in Leicester back in October, will still fight at the same venue, exclusively live on BT Sport, but a new foe is needed.

Former British Middleweight Champion and recent world title challenger, Jason Welborn, is donning his Santa Claus costume to spread a bit of Festive Cheer. The 32 year-old will be joined by wife Rachel and daughter Demi giving out presents to local children in and around Rowley Regis, where the Welborn’s reside.

Daniel Dubois will return to the ring on December 15 on a night of top championship boxing at the Brentwood Centre, live on BT Sport, that also features British super featherweight champion Sam Bowen making a first defence of his title against Ronnie Clark.

BRITISH Super Featherweight champion Sam Bowen (13-0, 9 KOs) is relishing the opportunity of some television exposure tomorrow night. The 26-year-old from Ibstock faces Argentina’s Horacio Cabral for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental title at 130lbs but more importantly he will fight on Frank Warren’s card from Leicester Arena live on BT Sport.

The British Boxing Board of Control have released their latest British championship circular and have thrown a number of fights out to purse bids. Stephen Goodwin has won the right to stage a cruiserweight title eliminator between Arfan Iqbal and Wadi Camacho at London’s York Hall on November 17. The winner is likely to face the winner of this week’s meeting between current holder Matty Askin and Lawrence Okolie.

Anthony Crolla is expected to return to the ring in a couple of months' time. The former WBA lightweight world champion has been out of action since his victory on the last Anthony Joshua card in March. Crolla scored a unanimous decision victory over Edson Ramirez at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and was afterwards considered a realistic future opponent for the current WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko.

Liam Williams has called out James Metcalf. The former British, Commonwealth and WBO European super-welterweight champion got back to winning ways recently. Williams, 26, stopped Darryll Sharp inside three rounds back in April as he snapped a winless period of 12 months in which he suffered two defeats at the hands of former world champion Liam Smith.
