Robert Easter Jr. insisted the extra weight and the favorable style matchup would provide a far more memorable night than his previous ring appearance. Adrian Granados knows he desperately needs to upset Robert Easter Jr. on Saturday night to remain relevant in boxing. The gutsy Granados’ past six outings have resulted in two wins, three losses and a no-contest. Those three defeats each came against former world champions – Adrien Broner, Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia.
Robert Easter Jr. is sympathetic to boxing fans who never again wish to recall his forgettable 12-round draw versus Rances Barthelemy earlier this year. In fact, he’s right there with the rest of the crowd. “I don’t believe in reliving the past,” Easter Jr. (21-1-1, 14KOs) joked with BoxingScene.com about the fight. “We learn from every fight. I have plenty of wins we can talk about, too.

Adrian Granados is embarrassed by what he considers the worst performance of his career in his last fight.
